Tiger Land Tour MapDay 1: Arrive Delhi
After clearing Indian Immigration and Customs in Delhi, you will be met by our Representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel.
Delhi the capital of kingdoms and empires is now a sprawling metropolis with a fascinating blend of the past and the present. It is a perfect introduction to the composite culture of an ancient land.

Day 2: Delhi-Khajuraho
After breakfast transfer the airport to board flight for Khajuarho. Flight leaves at 1040hrs & arrives Khajuraho at 1300hrs
Khajuraho is well known for its magnificent temples, were built between 950 and 1050 A.D. Khajuraho derives its name from the Khajur tree (the date palm tree) which can be found in abundance in the area.The divine sculptures in these temples, are a tribute to Life itself, embodying everything that is sublime and spontaneous about it. The murals depict the life and times of the Chandelas, and celebrate the erotic state of being. They not only testify to the mastery of the craftsman, but also to the extraordinary breadth of vision of the Chandela Rajputs under whose reign, these temples were constructed.
Afternon visit to the Eastern & Western Groups of Temples.
Overnight will be at Khajuraho.

Day 3: Khajuraho- Bandhavgarh National Park
After breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandavgarh is a new National Park with a very long history. Set among the Vindhya hills of Madhya Pradesh with an area of 168sq miles (437sq km) it contains a wide variety of habitats and a high density of game, including a large number of Tigers. This is also the White tiger country. These have been found in the old state of Rewa for Many years. Maharaja Martand Singh captured the last known in 1951. This white Tiger, Mohun is now stuffed and on display in the Palace of Maharaja of Rewa. Prior to becoming a National Park, the forests around Bandavgarh had long been maintained as a Shikargah, or game preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa. The Maharaja and his guests carried out hunting - otherwise the wildlife was well protected. Afternoon visit the park by Jeep with an English-speaking Naturalist.

Day 4 & 5: Bandhavgarh
The day starts with an early morning wake-up call with a knock on your room door. Tea/Coffee, fruits and cookies await you at the main dining area. You will wake up to misty mornings and sounds of birds calling, which will make an exciting start to your day. As soon as dawn breaks, leave for your Jungle Safari, accompanied by a resident naturalist and forest park guides in 4x 4 Jeeps. Early morning is the best time for tracking the tiger and other wildlife.  “Sher Darshan” or a “Tiger Show” offers you the chance to see a Royal Bengal tiger up close from elephant back, if you are lucky  !.  A picnic breakfast is served in the middle of the Jungle with a cup of hot Tea or Coffee. The afternoon safari starts approximately at 2.30- 3 pm till just before dusk.  As darkness falls, the peace and tranquility of the night is temporarily broken by various animal calls – an alarm-call of the deer or the howling of jackals, or an occasional roar of the tiger. In the evening, relax and unwind under a spectacular galaxy of stars, gather with your naturalist with drinks and hot snacks to discuss the highlights of the day, before retiring for the night.

Day 6: Bandhavgarh-Kanha National Park
After morning game drive transfer to Kanha National Park. This is the place that has been described by RUDYARD KIPLING in his great book "The Jungle Book". Located in the Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh, Kanha National Park is a tiger reserve that extends over an area of over 940 square km. A horseshoe shaped valley bounded by the spurs of the Mekal presents an interesting topography. Steep rocky escarpments along the edges offer breathtaking views of the valley. Realizing the danger on the Tiger population in the country, the Government started the "Project Tiger" at Kanha and in 1974 the area was declared a Tiger reserve. The park is also the habitat of the high ground Barasingha.

Day 7 & 8: Kanha National Park

Day 9: Kanha-Pench
Morning drive to Pench National Park.On arrival check into the Lodge. Pench, setting of Kiplings Jungle Book, it is a beautiful area of forest and lightly wooded grassland with many streams and Pench river. It is the home of a variety of animals including tiger, leopard, panther, and many species of deer, wild boar, bison, wild dogs, a variety of monkeys and other animals besides some 250 species of birds. Commonly seen are Peafowl, Red jungle fowl, Crow pheasant, Crimson breasted barbet, Redvented bulbul, Racket tailed drongo, Magpie robin and lesser whistling teal. It is also part of Project Tiger, one of India’s most important and successful conservation efforts. Afternoon visit the park by Jeep with an English-speaking Naturalist.

Day 10 & 11: Pench
Morning and afternoon visit to the park by Jeep with an English-speaking Naturalist. Overnight at Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge. (B,L,D)


Day 12: Pench-Nagpur-Delhi-Onward Journey
Morning transfer to the nagpur airport to board flight for Delhi. Flight leaves at 0920hrs & arrives Delhi at 1045hrs.
Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel for wash and change followed by on time tansfer to airport to board flight for back home or for onward destination.
